After reading last week’s posting, “Rudy Giuliani and the American Catholic Bishops,” several viewers claimed that Rudy Giuliani’s opposition to partial-birth abortion proves he is moving in the right direction on the life issue and may be worthy of Catholic support in the presidential election.

Giuliani’s flip-flop on partial-birth abortion is a sop to orthodox Catholics and Evangelical Christians.  With Giuliani’s long paper trail on the subject, it is difficult to believe his conversion is sincere. (more…)

At the conclusion of their Baltimore national conference, the American Catholic Bishops announced they adopted “Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship,” a statement of principles to guide Catholic voters in the 2008 presidential election.

No doubt Rudy Giuliani supporters are combing the document for loopholes that can be used to convince practicing Catholics that it’s okay to vote for “fellow Catholic” Giuliani despite his pro-abortion stand. (more…)

In Rudy Giuliani: Life Long Liberal, Rudy’s own words, news reports and commentary from both the left and right are utilized to prove that contrary to what we’ve been hearing and reading, Rudy Giuliani is what he has always been — a liberal.  It is’s hope that after reviewing the subject matter in the white paper, conservatives will take stories of Giuliani’s Damascus Road-like conversion with a grain of salt.

Republican Michael Balboni believed a stint in the Spitzer Administration as Homeland Security Deputy Secretary would enhance his image as an anti-terrorist expert and enable him to rake in the dollars as a security consultant in his next life.
