What on earth is a “Human Relations Director”?

Chief of Staff (she has 2 staff)

Chief Sustainability Manager (all she wants to do is turn off the computers at night to save a dollar)

Why would anyone think that that anyone in or near NYC cares about upstate NY. They all think they are the state. They sure did like us in the 70′s when they got bailed out with the sportsman fund. How quick they forget! Time for them to be the district of NY and the rest of us to be the real New York State!

Actually his name is Rocco Iannerelli and he is the receiver of taxes for the town of north hempstead. He’s the guy people in Nassau write their property tax checks to and he is our new Human Relations honcho. Welcome, Rocco. Bad news for poor Rocco is that Lame Duck Kessel aint going to be around much longer.

Ok, here comes another one. Kessel has just hired another Nassau County hack, the receiver of taxes or county clerk, in the town of north hempstead on Long Island. This fellow will be our new…Human Relations director. What a joke. The takeover of a once proud power agency by Long Island political hacks is now complete.

Kessel questioned under oath? But he’s a politician – when his lips move he lies. Maybe he’ll be done for perjury and we’ll be rid of him! We can only hope.

Of course, what idiot will be chosen to “lead” us next. Looks like it’s coming time to dust off the resume and see if ConEd are hiring yet.

Look I work in WPO. He is never here. He drifts around Long Island and the City meeting with Shelly, Tommy DiNapoli, Dean Skelos, Joe Mondello, Alfonse, Jay Jacobs, Judy Jacobs, Richie Schaffer, Richard Brodsky, Mike Balboni, Basil Patterson, Frank Zarb, Pataki and Cahill and various other political luminaries whose nests he has feathered. The sooner we are rid of this buffoon the better for all concerned.

I really don’t understand why anyone would find any of this surprising. Richie Kessel does not work for the New York State Power Authority or the people of New York. He works for David Paterson and himself exclusively. His only function is to find ways to rob taxpayer coffers, misuse or redirect state resources and make his masters appear to care about NY. I predict within the next year between the mass exodus of highly skilled, experienced workers and lack of resources for much needed maintenance the lights will go out. Even the NYPA Trustees no longer have control over him.
